How Orbit’s Drummondville employees have supported local food security for more than 15 years

For more than 15 years, employees at Orbit Insurance Services’ Drummondville office have supported Comptoir alimentaire Drummond, helping the organization address food insecurity in the local community.

What began with employees coming together to support their neighbours has grown into a long-standing relationship grounded in generosity, care, and a shared commitment to the community.

Each year, members of the Drummondville team participate in La Guignolée, the community's annual holiday food drive. They also serve as the event's title sponsor and ambassadors. Through their involvement, employees and their families help raise funds and collect food to support individuals and families experiencing food insecurity.

Most recently, Intact made a $1,000 donation to the food bank in Orbit’s name. Orbit matched the gift, bringing this latest contribution to $2,000.

For the Drummondville team, the partnership is about more than a single donation or event. It reflects a commitment to listening to local needs, building trusted relationships, and continuing to show up for the community year after year.

It is about offering hope and helping our neighbours feel supported during difficult times.
